Hello!

Ever since I was in elementary school, I have had a strong motivation to work as hard as possible and stand out from the crowd. I never fit the "normal" boxes society had set up for me, however, I never let that be a setback and continuously worked hard to get into BU and achieve my passions whether that is makeup, writing, film, or advertising. Today, I don't want to fit into these boxes because I appreciate my unique qualities and love bringing them into my work.

Working and studying in so many fields keeps me busy, however, I enjoy participating in organizations and clubs outside of school. I am currently the treasurer for the BU CGSA (Center of Gender, Sexuality, and Actisim) which is an organization dedicated to providing a safe space for queer students on BU's campus. Additionally, I am a very active member of the BUTV10 club and have worked as a writer, producer, cinematographer, and technical director on numerous shows. Lastly, I am also a member of many other clubs including BU's AdClub and Let's Talk About It Club.

As I started deciding I wanted to work in the film and media fields in 2020, I decided to use the pandemic time to get some real experience in the industry. I interned for a summer at the FabLife360 podcast (part of TV Asia). Through this internship, I got to post on their social media channels, make posters, edit episodes, collaborate with producers, and discuss future advertising ideas to help the podcast grow. It was a great experience and helped me decide I wanted to study film, advertising, and media. Since then, I have created two short films, written two scripts, and designed two advertising pitches for my classes at BU, however, I look forward to achieving even more this upcoming semester.
